Summer is almost here! Being overweight in the summer heat is no fun. If you are serious and want to look good here are some tips to get you started below.

1. The first step in order for you to lose the weight is to adapt to better eating habits. By doing this you will gain more food volume as well as obtain natural low calories seasonings such as garlic or onions to improve the taste of your food.
2. Try to eat something that you can reduce the fat such as chicken (without the skin) and fish. If you want to prepare rice with it try to eat brown instead of white.
3. Find someone who you can report to. People tend to keep up with their diet plan if there is someone who they have to report to at the end of the week. Trying to lose weight on your own can be very hard.
4. Try to keep a food journal so you will not intake more than you suppose to. Plan in your journal what are you going to eat for the week. This will help you not to over eat.
5. If you are a person who loves, fry foods try to use cooking spray. Cooking spray is reported to have less fat than cooking oil.
6. Remember that in order for you to lose weight you have to diet and work out. You will not excel in losing weight if you do not do both. When you work out your body loses fat as oppose to not eating and your body is eating up the fat.
7. Try concentration on your calories loss not your weight loss. Remember that muscles burn calories. Therefore, you must eat on a regular basic and not skip a meal. If you weight too long in between a meal your metabolism will slow down.
8. Eating raw vegetables like carrots, lettuces, celery and cucumber can lower you calorie intake. Eating high quantities in blended or liquid form is a way to consume fewer calories. The cells in the body are able to receive the nutrients they need.
9. Try to eat five meals a day. Eat a hearty breakfast, then eat a snack consisting of a fruit or unsalted peanuts, eat lunch, then another snack, then eat you dinner. You should eat three meals by 2:00p.m. and you should finish eating your dinner by 7:00 p.m.
10. To keep the weight off permanently, you must commit to a healthier workout and eating habit.
